Forex Trading – Why the market is so quiet?

Very interesting!
Think fundamentals are important.
But we should also aware about technical analysis

Complicated answer to the same thing the rest of the markets are doing: waiting for the other shoe to drop from the Fed.
Then, the USD is in a world of hurt but don’t bet your life that it is over for the dollar. It will slide severely for a year or so then come back gangbusters. Trust me.
In the meantime, Canadian bonds is where you should be. Just wait it out.
